Google is Hiring : Do you dream of building the future? Google’s Technical Infrastructure team is looking for a talented Hardware Verification Engineer to join our ranks and play a vital role in creating the cutting-edge hardware that powers Google’s services.

The Job Role

This is no ordinary hardware engineering role. As a Hardware Verification Engineer, you’ll be on the leading edge, ensuring the smooth operation of our complex ASIC designs using formal verification techniques. You’ll collaborate closely with design and verification engineers to define properties that capture the intended functionality of each logic block and the constraints on its inputs.

what you’ll be doing:

• Planning the Verification Strategy: You’ll be the mastermind behind the formal verification process, crafting properties and constraints for intricate digital design blocks.
• Wielding the Tools: Formal property verification tools will be your weapon of choice, helping you meticulously verify these properties and achieve formal verification closure.
• Conquering Complexities: No property is too difficult for you! You’ll tackle challenging verification problems and devise innovative solutions to enhance formal verification results.
• Building for the Future: Think reusability! You’ll design and implement reusable formal verification components, streamlining the process for future projects.

Education & Experience

To thrive in this role, you’ll need a solid foundation in electrical engineering, computer science, or possess equivalent practical experience. Three years of experience with verification methodologies and languages like UVM and SystemVerilog are a must. Additionally, experience developing and maintaining verification testbenches, test cases, and environments is crucial.

A master’s degree or PhD in electrical engineering or computer science will give you an edge, but it’s not mandatory.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience with verification methodologies and languages (UVM, SystemVerilog)
• Experience with verification testbenches, test cases, and environments
• Experience with main interconnects, DMA, controllers, and power management (a plus)
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python (a plus)
